I love this picture. I always have. I feel it is so touching.
I don't think we should get too comfortable and forget why that attack happened.
I love our country. Thank heavens for men and woman willing to stand up for it and willing to protect other countries from bullies they can't defend themselves from.
I too love this picture. its funny u think of this day and even through time can recall exactly where u were and what u were doing when u heard the news!! Truly a day that touched the lives of everyone!! and i too am thankfull for everyone out there fighting for a better world!!

Just like Tash said. I remember.. the day, the smell, the feelings, the emotion.. the wondering.
Grabbing my children taking them out of school, pulling them close.. waiting for my husband to get home (he was in CA)..
Days of just "us" and the TV.
It was heart breaking. It still is.
