My youngest came home the other day, and said, "Mom, I want to make some MEN!"
It was so much fun! And although we only technically made 2 men (their cut-out process was a little frustrating for a 5 year old!) our circle designs were just as cute! Plus, I have NEVER seen five jars worth of sprinkles on ONE gingerbread man...

Holy enormous cookie man...do you have a cookie cutter that big?? THAT is a gingerbread man...nothing like the puny ones we pump out here. I want a BIG man...and lots of sprinkles. Simon is my kind of boy...frosting and sprinkles...focus on the good stuff.
Since I couldn't find the cookie cutters (I think they got lost in the move last year...) and since "small hands" need a bigger surface, we came up with our own stencil to follow...Plus...more surface for more frosting!!
You people are too creative for me! I would rather just buy a gingerbread man! lol
I never have been a cook or a baker. My poor kids. My sisters just laugh. Their children are luckier than mine!
I bet they tasted great though!
