"Who is the woman that has been the greatest influence on you?"
If you would PLEASE answer this question for me...just by names and their relation or connection to you...and getting ALL your FEMALE friends to answer...I will tell you WHEN and WHERE it will be published, so you can see the part you played in my "creation." ( I won't be quoting names or resources....I am solely interested in your answer to the question...)

The woman who has had the most influence on me, I would have to say would be my half sister's mother. The choices she made, had a rippling effect that has influenced my life, from the root of my childhood.
I think sometimes we sense that infulence... has the connotation, of the positive. And perhaps at the end of the race, it might just be true.
I have had someone ask me before, what man, "did this to me", (they were refering to a standoffish nature I had at one time)
My response was, why does it have to be a man? Why can't it be a woman? And for me it was.
I am a better person, because of her "influence" on me and my determination, to NOT be just another one of her victims.
This sounds like a very fun project. You go girl!!!!

I would say my mom now that she is gone. I see what a big part she played in my life where it was a little harder to do that when she was still here.
I surround myself with wonderful women and I can see the huge influence they are on me. Some for the good and some for the not so good. JoAnn Hibbert-Hamilton was o my best friend's mom (when I was in high school) She, to this day is still a wonderful example to me. She is fearless against the adversary and I want to have her strength. You might know her. She teaches at all the church events and has some tapes and stuff out.
My close friends are huge for me. Not only do they keep me sane but also offer advice and companionship when I need it. If we keep our eyes open, there are many women who could be our "biggest influence".

Okay I do not know you but Smee sent an email and I love her and if she loves you I am sue I do too.
I think women in general influence me every day. I watch all those girls out there. The tired moms who lug threr children to the grocery store all the while singing and playing games to occupy them.
The older women who give an encouraging word to anyone who looks frazzled. The look in there eyes that says "someday you will miss the crazy"
My mother who, to put it mildly has had to wollow through many a muddy pond in her life I am telling you she has seen it all from the death of a spouse and a child to the children who have had 17 and counting brain operations, 1 open heart surgey (different children), and abusive ex husband , a jerk of a new husband, bankrupcies, all of it. and she will still look at you and say "I would much rather have my VERY visual trials than have to deal with some sort of internal conflice of sin"
My grandmother who never really did anything that was amazing to the world but raised TEN wonderfull children who in turn raised 78 wonderfull children who in turn are raising 35 and counting wonderfull children. And the list will go on and on.
Women, all woman have a divine right to greatness whether they are housewives or executives. We leave our mark on the world and I think every single one can make a huge difference in the lives of everyone around them. I know I watch all of them and learn somthing new from most of the strangers I come into contact with.

- My first thought was "Dr. Laura or the "FLYlady" (Marla Cilley). But almost imediately I realized that they are the two women who have had the most RECENT positive influence on me. another HUGE influence for good in my life is my Great Grandma, Lavina C. Fugal. She was the American Mother of the year in 1955 and I LOVE to read all about her in our family history book (yet another project that that SHE spearheaded.) She was the most amazing woman - I so want to be more like her.
Even so, the ANSWER to the question would have to be "MY MOTHER." For good and bad, she is the woman who has had the most long term and lasting influence on who I am. (Or who I was.) I am in the process right now of trying to 're-write' some of the mental (negative) 'scripting' that was programmed into my mind all those years living at home. Now don't get me wrong, My mother is a wonderful person, and she has MANY MANY positive traits which I am learning to recognize and admire and appreciate, and I love and enjoy my mother for all the good and wonderful things that she is, while still recognizing that without meaning to, she planted some (self)destructive thoughts and patterns of deling with things into my psyche.
I think that for me, those first 18 years of my life, living at home and being under the constant influnce of my mom shaped who I have become. Now I will spend the rest of my life trying to make conscious choices (and accepting the influce go other great women) to develop who I want to become.
